My name is Britt Beaver, and I have dedicated my professional life to serving others through education, counseling, coaching, leadership, and public safety. With more than 30 years of experience in education, I have served as a teacher, coach, school counselor, assistant principal, athletic director, and school safety professional. These experiences have given me a unique perspective on the challenges facing students, educators, parents, and schools today.
My educational background includes a Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership from Georgia College and State University and a Master of Education in School Counseling from the University of West Alabama, both completed with a 4.0 GPA. I also earned a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education with an emphasis in Social Studies from Greenville College. Throughout my career, I have continued to pursue professional development in educational leadership, counseling, mindset training, and law enforcement.
In addition to my career in education, I have more than two decades of experience in law enforcement and school safety. I have served as a certified peace officer with the University of Georgia Police Department and the City of Statham Police Department, as well as a District Safety Officer with the Greene County School System. I currently serve as a Behavioral Counselor with the Georgia Department of Community Supervision.
Coaching and mentoring have also played an important role in my life. I have coached basketball and football at both the middle and high school levels, including several years as a head varsity basketball coach. Throughout my career, I have been honored with several awards for my work as an educator and coach, including Teacher of the Year recognition and being selected as an assistant coach for the Georgia State All-Star Game.
Today, I bring together my experiences in education, counseling, coaching, leadership, law enforcement, and behavioral support to encourage and equip others. Whether speaking to educators, parents, students, or community groups, my goal is to provide practical information, encouragement, and real-world strategies that people can apply in their everyday lives. My hope is that every audience leaves feeling informed, encouraged, and better prepared to make a positive difference.
